American Blonde "A Man Like You" Song Review
Dynamic new duo American Blonde has a new single for everyone to hear. "A Man Like You" is truly an anthem that celebrates young and single women everywhere.
The sisters were formerly known as Southern Halo, but have rebranded themselves since the COVID-19 pandemic. Natalia and Christina Morris come from a small town in Mississippi. They have found a way to blend Southern rock and country pop into their own sound. On several of their songs, their personality certainly shines through. Having performed around Nashville and beyond, fans have loved their soulful music. Their newly released song is a stand out of their catalog.
"A Man Like You" opens with a captivating guitar riff. There's an immediate comparison to the '90s country that Shania Twain brought to the world. For a song for female empowerment, it's so surprise it sounds like a Twain record. The sisters sing, "I don't need a man / Honey I can dance on my own just fine / Take care of my own mind." It has an infectious chorus that anyone can sing along to. For those wanting to have a good time with themselves or with friends, this tune should absolutely make the playlist.
