Artists with Country Bars in Nashville
If there’s one thing that’s certain about Nashville, it’s the culture. Whether visiting a honky tonk or eating at any one of the city’s incredible restaurants, there’s always something fun to do on Broadway Avenue: the center of Nashville’s nightlife. A characteristic feature of Broadway is bars, restaurants, and music venues owned by renowned country music stars, many of whom frequent their own establishments. Here’s our list of artists behind some of the best country bars in Nashville:
1. Jason Aldean
Established in 2018, Jason Aldean’s Kitchen and Rooftop Bar is located in Downtown Nashville and offers food, drinks, and music on Broadway. According to their website, the country bar was a way for Aldean to “give back to his music fan base” with an authentic country experience. With four levels of seating as well as an outdoor sitting area to overlook the bustling streets of Nashville, the location and country flare bring the same sense of confidence and excitement that Jason Aldean brings to his music.
2. Luke Bryan
Luke’s 32 Bridge, a restaurant and bar experience, is located on Broadway with six levels, eight bars, and three stages. No matter what your interest, Luke’s offers an option for everybody, from 30,000 square feet of two restaurants, including Luke’s Signature Restaurant featuring classic southern dishes like Nashville hot chicken and Luke’s Sushi Bar. There are also outdoor seating options in the form of Luke Bryan’s “Nut House,” one of the largest rooftop bars in Nashville.
3. John Rich
Located right by the edge of Broadway, John Rich’s bar Redneck Riviera overlooks the Cumberland River and offers a classic honky tonk experience with a focus on honoring hard-working Americans with the name “Heroes Bar.” Redneck Riviera has featured a variety of stars and guest performers like Andrea Guess and Jessie-Rose and continues to supplement the Nashville country bar scene as an important hub for artists and visitors alike.
4. Alan Jackson
Perfectly located right next to the famous Bridgestone Arena, Ryman Auditorium, and Country Music Hall of Fame, AJ’s Good Time Bar offers a perfect place to conclude your day after visiting all of Nashville’s greatest sights. The building that the bar is in, used to house Bullet Records – a part of the Grand Ole Opry back when it first began in the 1940s. Now, it serves as the perfect blending between old country music and new while reminding visitors of what it really means to be in Nashville.
5. Miranda Lambert
The newest on this list, Miranda Lambert’s Casa Rosa opened last year in downtown Nashville. The bar brands itself as “a little taste of Texas in Tennesee.” They serve up Music City’s finest Tex-Mex and serve you while sitting in fancy tufted pink booths.
6. Dierks Bentley
Country singer Dierks Bentley has his own restaurant on Broadway deemed Whiskey Row. The theme of Bentley’s bar is “an American gastropub unlike any other.” Whiskey Row serves as a setting for great live music, lively night life, and features award-winning food and drinks. There are also other locations in Arizona and Colorado.
7. Blake Shelton
Blake Shelton’s Ole Red is best known for its live music. Nashville’s hottest rising talent frequently takes the stage at Ole Red and the bar prides itself on giving its visitors the full “country experience.” The bar even has its very own “Artist Spotlight” segment, constantly giving up-and-coming performers a chance to shine.
8. Florida Georgia Line
Sitting on 3rd Avenue South in Nashville Tennesee is country duo Florida Georgia Line’s bar and restaurant, FGL House. Just like most other bars in Nashville, FGL House has constant live music. It serves “Southern-style cuisine with California flair.” There are bars on multiple floors that serve local beers and cocktails. The FGL House also has one of the largest rooftops, known as the “Cruise” rooftop, conveniently named after the duo’s biggest hit.
