Ashley McBryde "Cool Little Bars" Song Review
Ashley McBryde is one of the most prolific singer-songwriters in country music, and her new song continues to show why. She has released the new track "Cool Little Bars" in anticipation of her upcoming album The Devil I Know Now. The album is set to arrive on September 8th.
McBryde has given fans a taste of what's to come on her new record. "Light On In The Kitchen" is currently climbing the radio charts. The song speaks to all of the females out there, something McBryde does best. "Made For This" was released just last month and elicits a heavier rock 'n roll feel. With every one of her songs comes heart and authenticity, and one can't look past her ability to tell an amazing story.
"Cool Little Bars" evokes nostalgia of effortless country music. The instrumentals can simply take one's breath away. It's the kind of song meant to be played while driving down a familiar road. The lyrics are an ode to the places that help us out when we're struggling; for many bars are those places. "Little holes in the wall / For lost souls and old stray dogs / God bless two for ones and broken hearts / And cool little bars." Every McBryde release is guaranteed to be authentic, and this song plays to her strengths as a vocalist and songwriter.
