Austin Burke "More Like Her" Song Review

Country singer-songwriter Austin Burke has a new track to share with his listeners. "More Like Her" looks to continue the momentum he is already building in Music City.

The singer is riding high after releasing his rendition of Patsy Cline's "Crazy." "Crazy, Crazy" saw the great Willie Nelson (the sole writer of Patsy's "Crazy") giving his stamp of approval, and allowed the original track to be used throughout the song. Burke also recently opened for Billy Currington in his first two arena shows.

"More Like Her" is one of the more personal songs Burke has released. He announced last month that he will be expecting his first child with his wife Lexy. The lyrics of this song act as a message to his unborn child. Burke makes a note of wanting the child to grow up to be like his or her mother. He croons,"She’s the steady when your world is upside down / She can take a no good day and turn it all around / She'll love you more than anyone else / Teach you how to love yourself Even when you think don’t know how." The sweet, melodic song hones in on his artistry and style in the most meaningful way.
