Bobby Pinson Set to Release First New Song In 15 years
Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Bobby Pinson is gearing up to release new music. His first single in over 15 years, "The Shave," will be available on August 12.
Pinson has had a long history of writing for some of country music's biggest stars. He has worked with the likes of Eric Church, Toby Keith, Jason Aldean, and Blake Shelton. Pinson's own material includes the successful single "Don't Ask Me How I Know" which entered the U.S. Billboard Hot Country Chart at number 50; it went on to peak at number 16. Along with the single, his record Man Like Me, introduced fans to the man behind some of the biggest hits on country radio. Since his last release in 2005, Pinson is ready to get back to making music for himself.
"Born of triumph and tragedy, Bobby Pinson's songs embody the power and integrity to take them across the width of today's musical landscape. Real-life situations, personal mantras, and the examination of the human condition, all find a place in Bobby's diverse material he often describes as gutter and grace," per a press release. Nashville is a town of singer-songwriters, so it is a happy surprise Pinson is returning to the studio.
