Chris Lane “Stop Coming Over” Song Review
Multi-platinum country music star Chris Lane is an undeniable force in the genre. He continues to prove that with over 1.4 billion on-demand artist streams in the US, three No. 1 hits including his latest single currently climbing the charts, and his collaborations with numerous other powerhouses in the genre. Written by Rocky Block, Jordan Dozzi, and Brett Tyler, Lane released a new single titled “Stop Coming Over” last Friday, December 10th.
The Kernersville, NC native is taking his 2X platinum, #1 smash “I Don’t Know About You” to the next level with the release of the commitment-focused, “Stop Coming Over.” The tender-hearted track does an incredible job of putting a clever lyrical spin on taking the next step in a relationship. It sends a clear message that Lane wants his partner to “stop coming over” and instead, “start coming home.”
“I’m so pumped to release ‘Stop Coming Over!’” Lane shares in a press release. “When I listened to this song for the first time and heard that hook, I knew I had to record it. It’s so catchy and the songwriting is so clever; I just loved everything about it. I can’t wait for everyone to hear this one and perform it live for y’all on the road!” The superstar isn’t the only one who is going to love everything about it, fans are bound to fall in love with this track and the message behind it upon first listen.
The contagious track follows Lane’s chart-rising single “Fill Them Boots”, another amorous track describing the beginning of a perfect, would-be relationship.
