Colby Acuff “Dying Breed” Song Review
Idaho native, Colby Acuff is celebrating the success of his latest album, If I Were The Devil and has just announced that his next single from the project is “Dying Breed”. The ten-track project features an authentic, traditional country sound and the lead single is no different.
A story song through and through, Acuff highlights the simple, mundane parts of his life that have made him who he is, fishing, guitar pickin’ and beer drinking while watching football and loving on his family. The singer-songwriter is proud to create and release music that has themes that represents who he is and what he is proud of.
“‘Cause I’m a dying breed / What you get is what you see / Not trying to be anything I don’t want to be / ‘Cause I’m a dying breed / I pick a little on my six string / Go fishing in a small stream / Paying cash kind of thing / ‘Cause I’m a dying breed”
Relatable lyrics and a true-blue country sound, Acuff is primed for even more success as he continues to work on his next album, slated for release in 2022. Acuff spent the better part of the pandemic writing this new project that has now amassed over one million streams. You can listen to If I Were The Devil anywhere you buy or stream music now.
