Country Stars Who Have Performed at the Super Bowl
In the world of football, the Super Bowl is the biggest night of the year. For some, it’s about who’s playing, but for others, it’s about who’s performing. There have been several country artists who have taken the stage for “The National Anthem” and even the half-time show. Here are a few of country’s biggest stars at the Super Bowl throughout the years.
1. Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton
Performing “America the Beautiful,” Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton took the stage in 2012 at Super Bowl XLVI. Then married, they held hands for the entire performance.

2. Travis Tritt, Clint Black, Tanya Tucker, and The Judds
In 1994, Tritt, Black, Tucker, and The Judds performed some of their greatest hits during the half-time performance of Super Bowl XXVII. They performed “It’s a Little Too Late,” “Tuckered Out,” “T-R-O-U-B-L- E,” “Love Can Build a Bridge,” and “No One Else On Earth.” This country music showdown is a must-watch.

3. The Chicks
For Super Bowl XXXVII, The Chicks performed “The National Anthem” in 2003. Their harmonies were absolutely perfect and their rendition is definitely high on the list of the best country performances of the anthem.

4. Faith Hill
Faith Hill has performed twice for the Super Bowl: once in 2000 and another time in 2009. In 2000, she performed “The National Anthem” for Super Bowl XXXIV. Then, she was asked back to sing “America the Beautiful” in 2009 for Super Bowl XLIII.

5. Shania Twain
In 2003, Shania Twain performed her hits “Man! I Feel Like a Woman!” and “Up! (Red Version)” for Super Bowl XXXVII. Shania Twain captivated the stage with her incredible stage presence and stunning smile.

6. Luke Bryan
Luke Bryan performed “The National Anthem” in 2017 for Super Bowl LI. In an interview with Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Bryan talks about how nervous he was to perform “The National Anthem.” He stated, “You either get the anthem right or you don’t.” There’s no doubt that he definitely got it right.
For the upcoming Super Bowl LVI, Grammy-nominated country star Mickey Guyton will be performing “The National Anthem.” This is a performance you won’t want to miss.
