Exclusive Premiere: Elyse Saunders Shares the Music Video for "Famous"
Premiering exclusively today on The Nash News, Canadian country artist Elyse Saunders shares the music video for her track, "Famous."
“Famous” is the fifth and final video release from the singer's 2021 EP titled, Free." The track was written by Elyse Saunders, Elysse Yulo, and Kyle Renton, and was produced by Paul Shatto (Jetty Road) and David Wills (The Higgins). The music video was produced by Roadhouse Productions.
She spoke about the meaning of the tune and the corresponding video stating, “This song exists in a movie-like world where a woman uses sass and sarcasm to respond to the challenges and insecurities that come from painful gossip. The answer – as she sees it – is to be ‘Famous’ since people want to talk about her so much. For the video, we used the song’s central theme of confidence to capture an everyday girl who is imagining herself in a grandiose life and owning her self-worth, and being herself, even if people don’t like it. We wanted to create something fun to play into the title and what it can mean."
