Hit Single Predictions for 2022
The year 2022 has just started and we’re listing some country songs that we think will take the year by storm and rise in popularity. These are our hit single predictions for the next year.
1. “Til You Can’t” by Cody Johnson
Cody Johnson has a massive fanbase of dedicated fans, if “Til You Can’t” were to get decent radio play, it’s destined to go No. 1 on the country charts.
2. “Whiskey Sours” by Kane Brown (unreleased) dropping January 14th
Although this song isn’t out yet, anything Kane Brown touches tends to turn to gold and we think it’ll do incredibly well with fans and the general public.
3. “Growing Old With You” by Restless Road (unreleased) dropping January 21st
The new single by Restless Road is another song that isn’t out yet, but has a very romantic message that people love to hear in country songs.
4. “Can’t Do Without Me” by Lindsay Ell and Chayce Beckham
“Can’t Do Without Me” is a standard country duet with a catchy sound. Female-male duets were huge in 2021 with Carrie Underwood and Jason Aldean’s “If I Didn’t Love You” and Dustin Lynch and MacKenzie Porter’s “Thinking ‘Bout You,” and we think that trend may continue into the new year.
5. “Shuffle” by Laci Kaye Booth
Laci Kaye Booth is an American Idol alum with a bright future. We predict, and hope, that her track “Shuffle” will land her a massive hit in 2022.
6. “Hypocrite” by Ruthie Collins
“Hypocrite” by Ruthie Collins was released in October of 2021 but was just sent to be promoted on country radio stations across the country. With the powerful lyrics and stunning instrumental, it definitely has the power to blow up.
7. “Home Sweet” by Russell Dickerson and Lady A
“Home Sweet” started out as a song with solely Russell Dickerson singing, but since the track was written with Charles Kelley of Lady A, Dickerson decided to bring them on the track and re-release it in the latter half of 2021. It has huge potential to be a smash on the radio.
8. “Never Wanted To Be That Girl” by Carly Pearce and Ashley McBryde from Pearce’s 29: Written in Stone
This collaboration between two of country’s most beloved women is already rising on the charts and it seems to grow each week. The momentum the track has built up is bound to continue in 2022.
9. Anything Luke Combs releases
Although nothing has been announced by Combs since the release of “Doin’ This,” Combs hasn’t released a full-length project since 2022 and we have an idea much more music will come from the superstar in 2022. And of course, whatever he puts out is destined to be a hit.
