Jacob Rice "Picture This" Song Review

Jacob Rice is a young country artist who plans to make waves with his upcoming EP set for

release on May 19th. His latest single, “Picture This” will be released on May 5th, 2023, and sets the tone well for the anticipated EP release. Rice is fairly new to the country music scene, but has quickly built a following.

Rice leans into a happier, more upbeat style of country. “Picture This” is a testament to both

Rice’s writing ability, and his vocal talent. The tune is smooth, easy to listen to, and an undeniably good time. Rice is asking a potential love to imagine how it would be if they were together. Rice exclaims, “Picture this, whiskey hits / Got my hand down on your hips / Feelin' it, can't deny we're something special / Dancin' close, sippin' slow / Capture memories on your phone.” Rice’s ability to blur the lines between country, pop, and hints of rap, make this song a joy to listen to.

Rice is an artist to watch, as his discography grows, so does his skillset. His latest single,

“Picture This” makes it clear that not only is Jacob Rice here to stay, but also that as he continues to grow and evolve, each one of his tracks is somehow better than the last.
