Jillian Cardarelli "If I Could Talk To Elvis" Song Review
Jillian Cardarelli is a promising singer-songwriter with immense talent. For proof, look no further than her new song titled "If I Could Talk To Elvis." Her latest release is bound to gain the attention it deserves.
Cardarelli has already worked with some incredible forces in Nashville. Her debut single was written by Maren Morris, Jordan Reynolds, and Tina Parol. She's also been featured on CMT and has opened for Reba, Willie Nelson, Dierks Bentley, and many more. When speaking about her new song she said, “I fell in love with Elvis at five years old when my dad played the Aloha from Hawaii Concert Special on VHS. I was six years old when I first visited Graceland and then went back, after begging my parents, on my 10th birthday. I’ve visited Graceland more times than I can count over the years. Elvis was such a huge influence in my life and he played a part in why I decided to pursue a music career," said Cardarelli via press release.
The singer's voice carries warmth as she sings every line of "If I Could Talk To Elvis." It makes it feel like she's having a conversation with her listeners. The tune also has someone special featured on background vocals: Larry Strickland. Strickland served as a background vocalist for the late icon. “When I heard about the song, I was very intrigued because I actually did get to talk with Elvis… often,” shared Strickland in a press release. The lyrics have an understated feel that makes it an easy listen. This is a track that live crowds would even take to.
