Larry Fleet Discusses Why He Teases Unreleased Music and Being a Dad
Right after Larry Fleet got off stage from performing in Eau Claire, Wisconsin at Country Jam USA, he chatted with The Nash News about how he teases his followers with unreleased tracks, being a dad, and touring with Morgan Wallen.
Despite putting out his most recent LP Stack of Records in 2021, Fleet was showing his fans what he had been working on before that and what he has in store for the future across his social media platforms with acoustic videos of him playing unreleased music. "It's kind of a way for me to put them out to see if people like them before you go and put them on a record. It's kind of like testing the waters," he told The Nash News. "Also, people want new music and the process of recording a record takes forever, so I can go pop in one of those videos."
In June, Fleet posted an unreleased track about his kids on Instagram and in the same post wrote, "Being a dad is the best thing I've ever done." He had written the song when he discovered he was having a baby girl. When asked about the statement, he responded, "Every day is cool seeing their personalities change." He adds on, "It's a whole different thing, being a dad of a boy and a girl. It's been awesome."
Fleet also got to join Morgan Wallen's 'The Dangerous Tour' through the winter of 2022 into the spring, playing arenas across the country. When asked what he learned out on the road he responded, "A lot about being an entertainer." He also expanded on the experience sharing that he got closer with Wallen and his crew.
This fall, Fleet will be embarking on his own solo tour with dates across the U.S. Find all the information on his website here.
