Lauren Davidson “Thinking Of You” Song Review
Lauren Davidson isn’t your typical country artist, hailing from Freehold, NJ, and living in New York City, she is creating a whole new country sound. Davidson’s music blends together the big city vibes with rich tones of small-town country music and creates music that keeps people coming back.
She has played shows with country acts such as Maddie & Tae, Carly Pearce, Old Dominion, and Michael Ray, countless radio shows, and performed in the iconic Madison Square Garden as part of PBR’s “Unleash The Beast” Tour. Davidson also had the honor of being one of the first performers at Lady Gaga’s father’s restaurant in NYC, Joanne Trattoria.
Her latest single “Thinking About You” is your new badass breakup song, it’s all about forgetting your ex and becoming a stronger person because of them. Davidson drew inspiration from her recent breakup at the beginning of the pandemic, she was tired of hearing his name and wondering how he felt and just wanted to be over him. From those feelings this rock-and-roll/country song was born, allowing her to move forward and focus on herself.
