Lily Rose “Remind Me Of You” Song Review
Today, Friday, May 21, the very talented Lily Rose released her new song, “Remind Me Of You” written by Sam Hunt, Ernest K Smith, Ryan Rojtesak, Corey Crowder, and produced by Joey Moi and Matt Morrisey.
“Remind Me Of You” follows previously released tracks “Villian” and “Overnight Sensation” and in a press release, Rose says it’s her favorite one she’s released so far. Rose made the perfect choice to release this song as her first outside cut as it so beautifully exemplifies the type of artist she has become. As soon as the song begins, you can tell just by the melody that it’ll never be a song you skip past. It’s the sad truth that regardless of how much you want to forget about your past with someone and focus on the future, you will always find yourself reminiscing.
Between her powerful delivery and the tempo of quick lyrics, you can hear the desperation throughout the track. “Girl you were all that I wanted and that’s why falling in love with her is so hard to do, she don’t remind me of you.” Music can be the best medicine when going through troubling times. Songs like “Remind Me Of You” can take what you’re feeling and put it right into the words you have been looking for.
