Maddie & Tae “Madness” Song Review
“If the world goes mad / I’ll love you through the madness”
Maddie & Tae are back with a brand new song, “Madness” released today, October 25th. The love song is relevant for the times we are living in, especially anyone who spent a whole lot of time with their significant other during the pandemic.
Their absolutely stunning signature harmonies are on full display throughout the lyrics of “Madness” which was written by both girls with Jessie Jo Dillon and Zach Kale. Both Maddie and Tae both got married not too long before the world shut down, forcing a lot of quality time with their new husbands. Like many, this time was challenging but for true love, I’m sure it helped to strengthen relationships.
“Come what may babe hell or high / If those stars fall from that sky / Let it all come crashin’ / I’ll be runnin’ to you the fastest / If these streets go up in flames / If everybody goes insane / I’ll reach for you, you’ll keep me safe / ‘Cause baby whatever happens / If the world goes mad / If it all goes bad / If the world goes mad / I’ll love you through the madness”
“Madness” is another taste of new music from the ladies since their 2020 project The Way It Feels. They released “Life Ain’t Fair” and “Woman You Got” earlier this year as well leaving long time fans excited for their next full length project slated for release in 2022.
The ladies just announced this week their headlining dates for 2022 “CMT Next Women of Country Tour Presents: All Song No Static Tour”. Newcomers Callista Clark and Sacha will accompany Maddie & Tae throughout the duration of the CMT tour. Tickets are available beginning today at 10 AM CT at MaddieandTae.com
