Priscilla Block and Justin Moore "You, Me, And Whiskey" Song Review
Priscilla Block and Justin Moore have just released country music's latest duet hit. “You, Me Dnd Whiskey” was written by Jessi Alexander, Brock Berryhill, and Cole Taylor but Moore and Block made the lyrics come to life.
Block, who is an up-and-comer in the industry after getting TikTok famous, might not seem like the person to collaborate with Justin Moore, a traditional, seasoned professional in the industry. Their unlikely pairing has made out to be a beautiful track with a deeper meaning that lies on the surface.
Moore has shared in the past, that to him, the meaning of the track is about making plenty of time for your romantic relationship. The title may come off more flirtatious and playful, providing audiences to interpret it however they'd like. Singing about taking a break from work to drink some whiskey and being with your partner, this sexy duet will have you singing along after your nine-to-five.
The lyricism is poetic and emits as though they're being sung in a dimly lit room: “Girl it ain't no one's fault / Shut the world off and turn it back to when / It was you me and whiskey all night long / Sinkin' to the bottom of them country songs.” The pair's voices blend perfectly together to tell this sultry, intimate, and romantic story.
Starting with some electric and acoustic guitar leading into the chorus with hard drum beats, this country song will be playing in every bar in no time.
