He’s racked up almost 10 million streams across his released catalog, which has snowballed into 150K followers and 200K listeners across all his platforms. He’s been featured in Rolling Stone, Billboard, Sounds Like Nashville, People, and many more. He booked more than 450 shows in 3 years, opening for artists such as Keith Urban, Eric Church, Brothers Osborn, Florida Georgia Line, Thomas Rhett, and the list goes on. Who is this up-and-coming artist? Raleigh Keegan. His next big move is releasing his break-out album which drops today, October 15th, 2021. The collection, titled Clocks Roll Forward, was produced by Grammy- award winner, Ryan Gore.

“Clocks Roll Forward” reflects on Keegan’s not-so-typical upbringing. He’s been able to beat all odds and succeed in his goals thus far, even going as far as to sell his house to pay for his first EP. Having been a writer on all 13 tracks, his past struggles and vulnerability are portrayed clearly in this collection. “Way Back” is the opener for the album and this earworm colors the collection in a bright, vibey way while remaining laid back and mellow. Clocks Roll Forward has several ballads in fact, including “Jealous Of The Sun”, “Drink For That” and “Another Good Day”.

Keegan made sure to mention his parents in this album with a track about his father titled “Like My Daddy Was”, and a track about his mother, “Our First Goodbye”. Keegan doesn’t waste any time and gives his audience a look directly into his life with the second song “Long Line of Lovers”. Carrying a feel-good mood, several other tracks on the list have a similar laid back feel, such as “Trainwreck”, “Easy On The Trigger”, “Handyman”, “I Love You”, “Sure Like Lovin’ You”, and “Tell Me Somethin’ I Don’t Know”. “Clocks Roll Forward” features a sprinkling of core country instruments. The fiddle dances around perfectly while the organ’s tremolo adds accents in the perfect places. Full of lessons from his past, his ear-pleasing voice is the star of the album. Keegan serenades his audience while reminding them that the “Clock Rolls Forward”.
