Songs I Grew Up On with Chapel Hart

Chapel Hart is a group on the rise within the country music landscape. Comprised of sisters Danica and Devynn Hart and cousin Trea Swindle, the trio gained much attention when they auditioned for America's Got Talent. Their music always brings energy, heart, and southern country sounds. The band shared the music they grew up on, and there are plenty of classics to go around.

1. "When I Think About Cheating" by Gretchen Wilson

This song made Devynn think she was in a relationship that was ending, even at her young age. The lyrics were that impactful.

2. "Good Time" by Alan Jackson

Swindel humorously wondered why this song made her want to "turn up on the weekends" after a long week of school. The song always makes the band want to have fun anytime they hear it.

3. "The Dance" by Garth Brooks.

This timeless 90's hit song still has the ability to bring tears to their eyes. The piano intro is still just as iconic as it was back when Brooks released the song.

4. "Here For the Party" by Gretchen Wilson

The trio collectively said that a party can't be started without hearing this song. It's clear that Wilson is someone the band draws a lot of inspiration from.

5. "Redneck Woman" by Gretchen Wilson

Nothing says 2000s country quite like this song. One of Wilson's biggest hits, Chapel Hart has the best memories of this song while growing up.

6. "Fast Cars And Freedom" by Rascal Flatts

"Who didn't ride in the car and listen to 'Fast Cars And Freedom?'" asks the trio. The band aims to draw the same feelings with their own music.
