Sony Music Nashville/RCA Nashville recording artist Niko Moon grew up listening to the likes of John Prine and Patty Griffin. Over the years, the singer-songwriter has crafted a number of songs with other Nashville writers and molded artistry for himself by releasing his first studio album Good Time in 2021. 1. “Loving You Easy” by Zac Brown Band
“Loving You Easy” made its debut on Zac Brown Band’s fourth studio album Jekyll + Hyde. Moon wrote the song alongside Zac Brown and Al Anderson. The single contains a conglomerate of instrumental makings and depicts a deep love lyrically. A music video for the song came out shortly after its release.
2. “Gone” by Dierks Bentley
“Gone,” written by Moon, Nicolle Galyon, Ben Johnson, and David Garcia, came out during the pandemic. Featured on Bentley’s tenth studio album, Bentley spoke of the track saying, “We are all relying on lyrics and melodies at home and trying however we can to find different ways to connect with our fans so that they know how important they still are to us. I hope this song resonates with mine, and I’m counting the days until we can all be back together again, beers in the air.” The single became the singer’s highest-charting single since “What Was I Thinkin.’”
3. “Homegrown” by Zac Brown Band
Zac Brown Band’s studio album Jekyll + Hyde also features the single “Homegrown.” This track was co-written with Moon, Wyatt Durrette, and Zac Brown. This song finds the happiness in the little things in life and the simplicity versus the luxurious life you could have. “Homegrown” made it to the number 2 spot on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart.
4. “Back To Life” by Rascal Flatts
Niko Moon co-wrote Rascal Flatts’ “Back To Life” alongside Shay Mooney, Cary Barlowe, and Fred Wilhelm making this single the band’s 39th single. The song holds a lot of themes of love renewal and swing tendencies. The band decided to pick up the ballad after hitting the road with Dan + Shay. They sing, “She puts that beat in my chest / Pounds like a drum, shakes me like thunder / Taking my hand, pulling me up when I’m going under / My dreams come alive when I wake up and look in her eyes / She brings me back to life.
