Top Coffee Covers by Alexandra Kay
Illinois native Alexandra Kay is an up-and-coming artist who rose to fame thanks to her social media presence; since her rise, she’s had a few songs reach the #1 spot on the Country iTunes chart. Her fame came thanks to her song covers she would post onto TikTok. Kay has deemed them “coffee covers” as she sings tunes while she makes herself a cup of morning joe. Her go-to is to add oat milk to her concoctions for those curious about her recipe.
The comment sections on her clips include fans making song requests for Kay’s next coffee cover. We’ve selected five of our favorites from her TikTok page.
1. “Forever and Ever, Amen” by Randy Travis
A unique coffee cover from Kay includes guest star Randy Travis, a country and gospel music legend. Travis is best known for his song “Forever and Ever, Amen.” In this clip, Kay sings away the famous tune as Travis comes in with a bright smile to close the song.
Answer @TikTok nothing tops hearing @randy.travis sing that AMEN in person! #coffeecovers #coffeegirl #randytravis
2. “The House That Built Me” by Miranda Lambert
Kay exudes a nostalgic feeling while covering the popular Lambert song. The audio is crystal clear, giving listeners an authentic performance-like experience. We can hear the ice tinkling in the mason glass jar, which gently overlaps Kay’s tune.

3. “Suds in the Bucket” by Sara Evans
Kay’s comforting voice shines again in this cover of Sara Evans’ song. Kay performs her coffee covers in her kitchen, which plays well for songs that involve stories of being in the kitchen. The clip ends with the swirl of a metal straw in her glass. Once again, the comment section is filled with support and adoration for her talent.
