You're Invited To: Jennifer Hart's EP Release Show

The Nash News is excited to celebrate Jennifer Hart's debut EP 1992 with a release show on Thursday, October 6th from 7-10 p.m. at Assembly Food Hall in downtown Nashville. Artists playing include Jennifer Hart, Sean Kennedy, John Morgan, Kennedy Scott, and Andrew Beason.

Jennifer Hart

Originally from Gilbert, Arizona, Jennifer Hart (formerly known as Jennifer Smestad) now calls Music City home. In May 2019, Jennifer funneled a combination of homesickness, faith, and family values into the original composition "Half The Man," which quickly went viral, racking up more than 20 million views on TikTok, over 12 million spins on Spotify, and nearly 6 million views on YouTube.

Sean Kennedy

Scotland-born but Nashville-based singer-songwriter Sean C Kennedy is known for his revealing yet purposeful lyrics and genre-fluid musical style. Influenced by the likes of Prince, Bonnie Raitt, Coldplay, John Mayer, Amos Lee, and others, Kennedy has explored different angles, from folk and country to pop-rock, throughout the years. His latest EP Let Life Love You has a strong electronic pop feel to it, but never loses its emphasis on a meaningful message.

John Morgan

With a style that’s defined by melodic grit and a craftsman’s approach to songwriting, John Morgan brings a blue-collar toughness to Country that’s pulled straight from the only life he knows. Hailing from a tiny town called Sylva, deep in the Great Smoky Mountains of North Carolina, John Morgan grew up immersed in Bluegrass tradition and even toured the festival circuit each summer in a family band, before diving into songwriting, inspired by six-string legends from Tony Rice to John Mayer. Morgan is best known for his work with Jason Aldean; the singer cut eight songs written by John, including his recent No. 1 “Trouble With A Heartbreak” and the GRAMMY® nominated ACM Single of the Year No. 1 smash hit with Carrie Underwood, “If I Didn’t Love You.”

Kennedy Scott

Singer-songwriter Kennedy Scott released her debut single "'Til Death Do Us Part" in November of 2021. Listen to the track below.

Andrew Beason

Andrew Beason is a songwriter in Nashville who has credits on tracks cut by Sammy Arriaga, Renn, Sarah Haglund, Dave Fenley, and Chris Kroeze. He also helped pen TikTok star Spencer Crandall's track "Made" which already has over 16 million streams on Spotify alone.
