Mae Estes
Hope, Arkansas native Mae Estes isn't afraid to be truthful in her music. Fresh off a win as Female Vocalist of the Year and a nomination for Song of the Year (“Recycled”) at the 2021 Arkansas Country Music Awards, momentum is definitely in Mae Estes' favor. In early May, Estes' “Thinkin Bout Cheatin’” exclusively premiered with The Boot, where they described it as “traditional country perfection that transports listeners back in time when the genre’s pioneering women like Kitty Wells, Dolly Parton, Lynn, and Wynette told their plain-spoken truth over rootsy instrumentation brought to life by Nashville A-team session players.” A week later, CMT exclusively premiered the first music video of Mae’s career, describing her as “a country newcomer playing a vital role in reshaping the genre with her truthful and non-surface-level storytelling.” Mae Estes just released her "first love song" titled "Your Hands." Listen below.
SJ McDonald
SJ McDonald is an absolute rockstar. She has powerhouse vocals that stand out with a flare of sass. Last year in 2021, McDonald put out her very first EP titled How to Live. The project features five songs including "Stop Sending Me Love Songs." Earlier this year, she released an acoustic version of her 2020 single "Hot Damn."
Mia Mantia
Mia Mantia is a singer-songwriter based in Nashville, Tennessee. Some of her recent accolades include performing at the Key West Songwriter's Festival, having two songs become finalists in the top 10 of the NSAI Song Contest, and performing at RaeLynn's Dowtown part at Ole Red. She is also slated to perform at Creative Nation's 11th Annual Benefit Concert in October. Listen to her original track "Hold That Thought" below.
Cam Newby
Cam Newby is a singer-songwriter in Nashville whose recent work includes co-writes with Zoë Nutt and Lazy Jane. Listen to his track "Rescue" with Zoë Nutt below.
Andrew Beason
Andrew Beason is a songwriter in Nashville who has credits on tracks cut by Sammy Arriaga, Renn, Sarah Haglund, Dave Fenley, and Chris Kroeze. He also helped pen TikTok star Spencer Crandall's track "Made" which already has over 16 million streams on Spotify alone.
Timothy Baker
Singer-songwriter Timothy Baker released his debut record Let Me Drive in 2014. His single "These Boots Were Made to Dance" spent 18 weeks on Music Row Magazine's Country Breakout Chart for 18 weeks where it peaked at No. 42. He's performed in venues all across Nashville including Live Oak, The Listening Room, The Nashville Palace, and more. Take a listen to his most recent single "Country Kid."
Tori Tullier
Tori Tullier is an award-winning songwriter based in Nashville, TN. In 2014 she received the ASCAP Foundation Sammy Cahn Lyric Writing Award for her solely-penned song "Nicotine." Past winners of the award include John Mayer, Lori McKenna, Josh Ritter, and Katie Herzig. Her songs have landed on US and Canadian radio with cuts by Tim Hicks (with Lindsay Ell), Tenille Arts, Stephanie Quayle, Emma White, Brittany Kennell, and more. She has had songs featured in People, Billboard, Rolling Stone Country, and Forbes magazine, and performed at The Grand Ole Opry. In 2020, she returned to writing on her own, savoring the impromptu sessions alone at night with just her and her piano, and maybe a glass of red. She just recently released her EP, Baby Steps on July 27.
Meg McRee
After graduating from Vanderbilt University in 2018, Meg Mcree impulsively decided to pursue her dream of being a songwriter and promptly secured jobs as a waitress and a nanny in Music City. After 3 years of working and writing songs with anyone and everyone she could, she signed her first publishing deal at Hang Your Hat Music, a co-venture with Concord Music led by hit songwriter Hillary Lindsey. She has since collaborated with a wide range of artists and writers and is currently in the process of making her own debut record "A Lot to Say." At the core of all of her music is honesty, self-awareness, and storytelling.
