You're Invited to: The Nash News' 3rd Girls Night Out Writer's Round
The Nash News is eager to hold its second-ever Girls Night Out Writers Round at Assembly Food Hall at the Fifth + Broadway complex in downtown Nashville on Thursday, May 26th from 7-10 p.m. The round will feature performances from Casey Ahern, Riley Whittaker, Regan Rousseau, Tyra Madison, Dani Taylor, Liv Charette, MaRynn Taylor, and Sam Hatmaker.

Casey Ahern
Country singer/songwriter Casey Ahern has her heads in the clouds figuratively and literally — between writing songs, performing with her band, and yes, even flying a plane! Blending her influences of country music and 70s Laurel Canyon songwriters, Casey focuses on storytelling within her songs and showcases this on her latest EP Where I Run, which features a powerhouse ensemble of veteran Music City musicians and production team. She also received national radio airplay for “Didn’t Even Get a Goodbye,” her single off the EP, putting it in the Top 5 streams and Top 8 downloads in the country format on PlayMPE back in August of 2020.
Riley Whittaker
Riley Whittaker is a 17-year-old indie/ alternative musician originally from Arizona but moved to Nashville a couple of years ago. Riley has played all over Arizona, was selected to perform at the 2020 NAMM show in California, and has played iconic events/ venues here in Nashville, such as; Whiskey Jam, Exit/In, 3rd And Lindsley, and Alley Taps. Riley has 8 singles released and an EP. She is excited to be putting together a second EP, and booking shows solo, and with a full band this summer!
Regan Rousseau
Regan Rousseau is an up-and-coming Country singer-songwriter from Newbury Park, California. She’s currently writing for herself and others in Nashville and is releasing her first EP this year.
Tyra Madison
Tyra Madison is a country/pop artist hailing from Pine Top, KY, now residing in Nashville, TN. She is known for her powerhouse vocal and soulful tone, which showcases in her most popular release yet, “Right Girl Wrong Time,” which has now reached over 9 million streams and climbing.
Dani Taylor
Dani Taylor is a country artist from Phoenix Arizona. She first moved to Nashville 4 years ago and has already accumulated millions of streams on her catalog. Look out for her recent single "Jim Jack or Jose."
Liv Charette
Liv Charette is a Canadian-born, Nashville-based pop singer-songwriter. She has been called a “powerhouse vocalist” by Rolling Stone and “big voiced” by Billboard. Her latest single “Game Over,” is a nostalgic throwback to the heyday of 80s and 90s video games.
MaRynn Taylor
Black River songwriter and recording artist MaRynn Taylor is currently on radio tour in support of her single “Every Single Summer” found on her forthcoming debut EP. Coming on June 3rd the EP Something I Would Do will be released just before CMA Music Fest where fans will be able to celebrate that – and her 21st birthday on June 11th - with MaRynn Taylor in Nashville, TN.
Sam Hatmaker
Growing up in East Tennesser gave Sam Hatmaker the opportunity to perform in shows at Dollywood as a kid before moving to Nashville and signing her first publishing deal at the age of 16, which led to her first EP being produced by Grammy Award-winning producer Nathan Chapman.
