Zac Brown Band “Out In The Middle” & “Old Love Song” Review
Zac Brown Band, from Atlanta, Georgia, are no strangers to their songs topping the charts. With 13 tracks hitting #1 on the charts, the band are gearing up for their next chapter of incredible music. Their latest singles, “ Out In The Middle” and “Old Love Song,” dropped today, July 9th, 2021, both were written by lead singer Zac Brown, Ben Simonetti, Jonathan Singleton, and fellow superstar, Luke Combs.
Warm and grungy, Zac Brown Band grasps onto that rock country feel with their single “Out In The Middle”. The southern rock picking draws you in with the vocals, as the chorus brings in the full band for a large anthem sound. The lyrics are more than relatable with the words “getting by on just a little out in the middle”. They’ve done it again, whether you’re by a bonfire, getting down at a barn party, or shooting pool at a tavern, this track will hit you right where your soul lives “Out In The Middle” of nowhere.
Their second single released, “Old Love Song” is nothing short of a paradise track. The picture is painted with perfection leaving you daydreaming about slow dancing with that special someone to your favorite love songs. With references like “Unchained Melody,” you can’t help but stumble into that feeling of falling in love again, while an island tempo will have you swaying to the beat of the hand drums. “This is all the songs that you fell in love to. It was like a puzzle trying to put together all the song titles we really love,” Brown explains in a press release, “and making that into a love song. I grew up listening to oldies — songs a lot older than I was. And this song has that feel to it.”
Be sure to snatch up your significant other when this song hits your speakers. Before you know it, you’ll be gazing in their eyes like you do when you hear your favorite “Old Love Song.”
